Promark Matt Halpern Signature Drumsticks
Known for his work with Prog-Metal band Periphery, Matt Halpern has earned his own Promark Matt Halpern signature stick – along with a number of other signature products with other companies he endorses. Unlike some chaps we meet, we suspect Matt actually might be a real endorser of drum gear instead of a social media hashtag like, #insertcompanynameiwanttobeendorsedbysopeoplethinkimustbeanendorsee!
Having your own ‘signature’ model is actually an endorsement….phoning up a company and negotiating a trade cost+VAT transaction for a brick of sticks isn’t! (We’re on a rant today, aren’t we!)
Anyway, back to the business on the Promark Matt Halpern sticks, Matt likes the colour orange:

Each Promark signature drumstick comes from the exact specifications as required by the artist and these hickory Promark Matt Halpern sticks have a thick diameter of .630″ and a standard length of 16″. They have a very short neck-taper and are finished with a large round wood tip. Apparently, this stick is described as playing like a 5B model, in spite of it’s larger diameter. Matt also loves the orange print.
All Promark drumsticks are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA at their Texas facility, to the most stringent quality controls in the industry, delivering a consistency and quality throughout every model, from the bottom of the shaft, to the end of the tip (stop it please Finbarr).
