Founded by Jim Moritz whose great uncle and father both worked at Slingerland, Chicago Drum Co Snare drums are steeped in a rich family history.

Jim’s dad was with Slingerland for over 30 years as their head of the wood-shop and during the mid-1970s, Jim worked summers at the Niles plant. Chicago Drum Co drums are works of beauty made with the traditional craftsmanship Bud Slingerland founded. They are without doubt, the most authentic successor to the iconic brand.
