‘Hang Drums’ are a fairly new concept in the percussion world, but when people hear one being played, heads are sure to turn!

With a plethora of rich sounds, Hang Drums work by translating the hits and taps of the player into melodic overtones which when vibrating in unison, create some really ethereal sounding chordal tones.

They have the haunting resonance of a xylophone combined with the joyous melody of a steel drum. To say Hang Drums are unique would be and understatement!

As they are often used in healing situations in a similar way gongs are utilised, in order to create the correct spectrum of sound, Hang Drums need to be precision-made. We do not advise buying cheap models as this often ends in disappointment…
