We like to call him the ‘Cuban octopus’.
His amazing independence goes far beyond just the technical and actually sounds musical and most of all, natural. So when it came to a stick choice, Horacio chose Promark to create the sticks he could best express himself with.
Each Promark signature drumstick comes from the exact specifications as required by the artist and the Promark Horacio ‘El Negro’ Hernandez stick is hickory with a diameter of .500″ and a length of 16″ with a medium taper, finished off with a small ball-end wood tip. This stick has a centred balance and those extra-small tips provide great Ride cymbal articulation.
All Promark drumsticks are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA at their Texas facility, to the most stringent quality controls in the industry, delivering a consistency and quality throughout every model, from the bottom of the shaft, to the end of the tip (stop it please Finbarr).
