Ludwig Classic Maple Custom 3pc Shell Pack in 1950’s Heritage Blue Lacquer
Many moons ago , we had a stunning vintage WFL Ludwig set with a duco finish so similar to this .
We reckon that set went to France . Always fondly remembered by store folks.
So we had our Ludwig guy visit and decided we would offer a similar set in the Classic Maple range.

- Includes a stunning 18 x 12″ bass drum, Undrilled – fitted with retro Gull spurs.Dog legs we call them ere ! Gold Sparkle inlay on the hoops.
- 14”x 14″ floor tom with Red 60’s style damper
- 12”x 8″ tom with Red 60’s style damper
- 7-Ply 6mm North American maple shells provide exceptional tonal versatility
- 45-Degree bearing edges ensure a smooth and flat surface for perfect head seating
- Unique 1950’s Heritage Blue Lacquer finish provides stunning aesthetics
Featuring 7-ply, 6mm cross-laminated North American maple shells, the Ludwig Heritage Blue shell pack provides exceptional tonal versatility.
Each of the drums feature a 45-degree bearing edge within 1/16” from the outside edge. This ensures a smooth, even, and flat surface for perfect head seating.
All Ludwig USA shells are produced using Radio Frequency Shell Technology to increase stability throughout the drum and to provide the perfect Ludwig sound. These shells are equipped with a unique vintage white marine pearl finish, providing stunning aesthetics to make you stand out on stage.
