The Tama Star Reserve 14″ x 5.5″ Hand-Hammered Brass Snare Drum has a 1.5mm hand-hammered brass shell that provides a deeply harmonic overtone. The hand-hammering process leaves the shell of the drum in a unique barrel shape that creates a ‘fat’ sound and an extremely rich resonance.
This Tama Star Reserve drum comes with an 8-hole Customised Brass Mighty Hoop, supplying a bright and a punchy attack to a dynamic backbeat. This Star Reserve snare has a Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon Snare Wire to help the drum express its character with crispy sounds. Finally, the hand-hammered brass snare is completed with a Remo snare drum head. Remo are known for their superb quality in providing solid, quality tones and complement the snare’s beautiful finish with a striking, phenomenal sound.
