Another variation on the original Hot Rods, Promark Thunder Rods provide the ultimate in strength and durability!
Seven extra-large premium select birch dowels with a unique wrap near the neck providing a tight sound and improved durability. Promark Thunder Rods are the thickest, heaviest and loudest of all the Promark Hot Rods and are made for the heaviest of hitters! Made of premium select birch dowels, these rods provide an excellent consistency and feel.
Since their inception back in the 80’s, Hot Rods opened up the sound-sound scope and opportunities for drummers to play with their fellow musicians in ‘unplugged’ gigs. Since then, the Hot Rod concept has been copied by other manufacturers, but has never been truly equalled to the original ProMark Rods!
