Yes, we all know his dad, but the Promark Jason Bonham sticks are wonderful way to keep the Bonham legacy alive in the capable hands of the great man’s son. Despite the great work Jason is doing with his tribute show to his dad, it’s worth remembering Jason is most definitely his own player with his own feel and nuances. Whilst some people may wish he was his dad reincarnated, Bonham Jnr is his own man and is called by many other artists for the magic he brings to the music.
Each Promark signature drumstick comes from the exact specifications as required by the artist and the Promark Jason Bonham stick is maple (for a lighter feel) with a diameter of .595″ and a longer length of 16¾” with a short taper, finished off with a large acorn-shaped wood tip. There’s a heap of power in these sticks and they come with those iconic 3 circles printed on its shaft to remind us from whence they came…speaking of which….
