From the house of DW comes the PDP New Yorker drum set (sold in a shell-pack). Designed in DW’s custom shop, PDP New Yorker drum outfits were designed with portability in mind, especially for working drummers who encounter tight setting-up spaces on a regular basis. With its Poplar wood shells, it sounds really punchy….really punchy…
That was British percussion guru Pete Lockett giving the kit a quick blast (he’s also a Master at Indian percussion dontchaknow?)

Gig-friendly, highly-portable and fun to play, the PDP New Yorker’s all-Poplar wood shells deliver warm, full tones with loadsa punch (very clear in the video)! Thanks to PDP’s low-mass, Teardrop Mini-Turret lugs, the New Yorker shells are kept free from any unnecessarily weighty shell hardware keeping them lightweight and carry-friendly.

This sale is for the 4 DRUMS + HOLDERS – no other hardware, pedals or cymbals are included!
Shell dimensions are as follows…
- 16″ x 14″ Bass Drum (inc Tom-Holder & riser)
- 10″ x 8″ Tom Tom
- 13″ x 12″ Floor Tom (inc legs)
- 14″ x 5″ Snare Drum
All PDP New Yorker drums are fitted with Drum Workshop’s ‘True Pitch’ tension rods and we love the inclusion of integral auxillary clamp on the Tom-Holder so you can attach a boom-arm for that ‘Splash cymbal over the Toms’ effect they love here in Liverpool!
Ordering/Delivery Information
Due to the challenging trading conditions at the time of this listing, we are not yet keeping this item in store – though it is in stock with PDP’s EU-based supplier. Therefore, delivery to us from the PDP distribution centre will be 7-9 days from date of ordering.
