Istanbul Traditional 20″ Heavy Crash Cymbal
The Istanbul Traditional Series is extremely comprehensive and amongst its Crash cymbal line, includes a number of heavy Crash cymbal weights. History dictates Istanbul to be quite possibly, the only modern cymbal manufacturer producing cymbals which closely resemble the sound of the early Zildjian cymbals.
It would be nice to have a time-machine and be able to go back to the 1930s to visit the Zildjian brothers in America and hand-pick some heavy Crash cymbals, but we can’t! However, the sound of heavier weighted Crash cymbals is alive and kicking in the Istanbul Traditional cymbal line, delivering a powerful and explosive crash sound with the added projection and sustain expected from a heavier weight cymbal.
