Istanbul Traditional 13” Medium Hi-Hat cymbals are probably about as small as you would want to go for a main set of Hi-Hat cymbals. Although many people would buy these for use as a pair of axillary Hi-Hats hanging off an X-Hat, these contain enough of a full-bodied stick response with soft, warm overtones to warrant them as a main pair.
