Istanbul Signature Idris Muhammad 22″ Ride Cymbal
The Istanbul Signature Idris Muhammad 22″ Ride was made for the legendary Jazz drummer from New Orleans, born Leo Morris in 1939 and leaving us in 2014. Idris was an Istanbul cymbals endorsee for many years and Istanbul created a Ride cymbal for him he used right up until the end of his life.
Remaining as part of the Agop Signature Series, the Idris Muhammad 22″ Ride cymbal features an un-lathed bottom, a thick bell and some very special hammering techniques to deliver the high musical demands Idris needed from a Ride cymbal. In the right hands, this cymbal will sing its way through free-form Jazz/Fusion sessions without limits.
