Cindy Blackman plays a variety of music. Her Mantra cymbals give you higher volume, and greater attack, while still maintaining a musical balance of warm overtones – for the more modern end of the musical spectrum. Great for situations which require greater projection and cut where a rich, dark sound is desired.
The Istanbul Signature 20″ Cindy Blackman Mantra Crash is the perfect counterpart to Cindy’s OM series Crash cymbals. Capable of greater volume and attack, this Crash balances between projecting sound over louder music whilst maintaining warm overtones. Cindy clearly wanted other cymbals with the ability to cut with a rich, dark sound and the Mantra series is another gifted child from her unison with Istanbul Agop cymbals.
