Aquarian Response 2 Coated Power-Dot Snare Drum Head
The Aquarian Response 2 coated Power-Dot Snare Drum head is made with two plies of 7-mil film and created using Aquarian’s ‘multi-ply vacuum-tuned’ process which eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles from between the plies. By far, this is Aquarian’s most versatile two-ply head, delivering a full sound with great attack and the much sought after consistency needed between shell types.

That’s a great comparison video which should have you wanting to try other Aquarian drum heads, but we reckon the Response 2 coated Power-Dot sounds very ‘Bonhamesque’ which is quite fitting, seeing as he used a Remo Emperor on his 402. The Response 2 series works great in all musical situations and is designed for drummers who play many different genres.
Aquarian drum heads were invented by the late Roy Burns and despite his passing, the company still exists, carrying on his legacy to bring us all the products and innovations sometimes overlooked by the usual big names.
