Remo Silentstroke are 1-ply mesh heads made specifically for acoustic drum shells.

Fit these to the batter-side of an acoustic drum shell and the drum will have its volume reduced by (est) 70-80%. Fitted to batter and resonant sides, then there is next to no volume from the shell!

Obviously, the Silentstroke is perfect for fitting to an acoustic drum set for home practice purposes and will deliver the reality of playing an acoustic kit in a domestic environment!
